Treatment with our 3D ice diode laser aims for long-term reduction of unwanted hair. Pigment in the hair absorbs light energy and converts it to heat, which acts on the hair follicle. Because not all hairs are in the same growth phase at the same time, treatment is planned over several appointments.
Less daily effort
As hair growth decreases, the need for regular shaving may also decrease.

What happens during your treatment.
Assess suitability & starting point
Skin and hair colour, tanning, medication and previous hair removal affect treatment planning. Together we assess whether the treatment is suitable for you.
Prepare the area
The skin is prepared and the treatment area defined. Appropriate eye protection is part of the treatment.
Targeted treatment with cooling
Settings must suit your skin and hair. The ice diode laser's cooling function supports comfort at the skin surface; the treatment effect comes from the laser energy.
Check the response & plan ahead
We discuss aftercare and a suitable interval before your next appointment. Progress and tolerance guide the ongoing treatment plan.

Aftercare & important information
Protect treated skin from direct sunlight and avoid sunbeds. Do not wax or pluck between appointments; agree on preparation with us. Temporary redness or swelling is possible. Burns or pigment changes can also occur. Medical advice is important if symptoms are unusual or persistent.

Frequently asked questions
Why are several laser appointments necessary?
Hairs are not all in the same growth phase at the same time, so treatment is planned as a course. The number of appointments depends on factors including the body area, hair, skin and progress so far.
Will treated areas stay hair-free forever?
The aim is long-term reduction of hair growth. Complete, lifelong hair removal cannot be guaranteed. Hair can grow back and maintenance sessions may be needed later.
Is the treatment painless?
Sensation varies from person to person and also depends on the body area. You may feel warmth or brief stinging. Our ice diode laser's cooling supports comfort, but does not automatically make treatment painless or risk-free.
Can I shave or wax between appointments?
Please agree on preparation and the timing of shaving with us. Avoid waxing or plucking between appointments, as these remove the hair from the follicle. Tell us which method you have been using.
What should I know about sun exposure or tanned skin?
Tell us about a recent tan or sunburn before your appointment; treatment may need to be postponed. Protect treated skin from direct sunlight and avoid sunbeds. We discuss suitable intervals individually.
